Forrest Allen Yates was born in the Bay Area, but has grown up in various places all over the world; including: Europe, Asia, and Africa. Living abroad has given him the ability to look at various cultural, social, and political issues with objectivity. He is a passionate writer, and enjoys writing anything from poems to short stories.  He is also an avid reader and loves finding inspiration in a variety of different genres. He plans on studying business once he graduates from high school, and aspires to work in business after having completed college. He currently attends Oakland High School as a junior, and is the Editor In Chief for F.R.E.S.H the Magazine (www.freshthemagazine.com).
