Raul Maldonado is a 17 year old young man, born and raised in Oakland, CA. He is currently a Junior at Oakland High School, and considers himself a sketch artist focusing more on what he sees, rather that creating something out of nothing. Raul has been working on his artistic skills for at least 4 years, and is always looking to change and improve his style. He hopes that one day his artistic skills will lead him a career that he will truly love. He is a believer that money can’t buy happiness, and his parents have always given him the idea that as long as he does something that he loves, they will always be proud of him. He considers his older brother to be his biggest influence. Raul is currently the Features Editor for Oakland High School’s F.R.E.S.H. the Magazine, (www.freshthemagazine.com).
