Plantains
We’re making plantains! Plantains are fruit from the Carribbean, and are almost like bananas, but bigger and should be eaten cooked, not raw. They’re also very sweet!
Ingredients:
-olive oil (enough to cover the bottom of the pan)
-2 plantains
-cinnamon and sugar (if you want)
-ice cream and whip cream for topping
Steps:
1. Chop up the plantains into pieces
2. Pour the olive oil onto a frying pan. Once hot, put plantains in until they become a golden brown color.
3. Put them onto a plate, then they’re ready to eat!!
4. You can top them off with whip cream or ice cream! Or, you can make them sweeter by adding sugar or cinnamon!
