Summer Manufacturing Technology Program
at
Laney College
iDesign-Manufacturing is a free, 2-week program for high school students interested in creating things. This will be a hands-on course where students create, build, play, travel, take apart, and learn – all while having fun and discovering about careers in manufacturing and technology. If you are a high school student, and have an interest in technology and building objects with your hands, or think you might, this is a program for you. We will spend time in the machining lab learning how to create items using mills and lathes – and we will travel to companies in the Bay Area who make products.
