2010 Summer Youth Internship

Streetside Productions

StreetSide Productions is a video production house dedicated to inspiring young people to be provocative storytellers through intensive training in story development, video production, and product distribution – all within a professional work environment.

Through this internship, you will:

• Develop skills in media literacy, research methods, and story-boarding.
• Use and operate video production gear, including cameras, lights, and sound.
• Use and operate video post-production technology, including Final Cut Pro.
• Use and operate video distribution technology, including DVD authoring and uploading on to social media streams.
• Receive job readiness training and develop professional work habits, attitudes, and skills.
• Earn up to $960.00

Up to 10 youth will be selected… To be eligible, you must have the following:

• be a high school student

• have a strong interest in writing, filming, acting, and/or using computers

• be committed to working in a team

• like to work with children

• be able to work Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning July 12 and ending August 20, 2010
