Shannon Voong is a 14 year old young woman and is currently a freshman at Oakland High School. She was born and raised in Oakland California in a family of six and is proud of her family’s background. She is a believer in more than one culture and strives to learn anything and everything that falls in her category of interesting art. Her category includes music mainly, sketching doodles, painting random pictures, photography, song writing, jewelry making, and lately, temporary tattoo painting, singing, and Chinese calligraphy. Shannon is a major bibliophile and her favorite subject (other than music) is science. She wants to go to Stanford or UC Berkley and get her masters degree in Biology. The future career she plans on having is a veterinarian, but she is also interested in being a professional photographer or animal trainer. She is currently involved in many clubs and programs and is the photographer for F.R.E.S.H. the magazine (www.freshthemagazine.com).
