I’ve always been interested in fashion design and have made much of my own clothing and accessories. I do it for fun and to give as unique gifts to friends. People have suggested that I sell some of my products because they are so unique.

That made me think how cool it would be if my job was to dress people or make things. With college next year, it would be an advantage to start saving now and at the same time develop some real world experience.

I really got inspired to start selling my stuff because of the help I got from Paloma Belara, a publicist and the program coordinator for FRESH The Magazine. She is currently helping my with getting my shop set up on etsy.com, a website to buy and sell homemade items. My shop is currently under construction but I will post an update when it opens so STAY TUNED.
